Paul Taylor Photos, Bobcat

Talented professional photographer Paul Taylor paid us a visit recently, and took some marvelous photos, which we'd like to share with our visitors. Here is our resident bobcat, She is unreleasable, and is kept on an educational permit, because she was raised in captivity as a pet. Wildlife do not make good "pets", and many find themselves abandoned, or worse, when their owners suddenly find that they have too much beast on their hands to safely care for. These animals cannot be released back into the wild, because they have imprinted on human beings. This pretty girl is one of the lucky ones to have found her way to NYWRC! Thank you Paul for sharing the photos with us. To see more of Paul's wonderful work, please visit his website at http://www.paultaylorimaging.com .
